In Peru, PADF is working with Robotec, a non-profit association that has promoted science and technology since 2002, through a holistic approach and execution of projects. Through STEM Clubs and teacher training, Robotec has taught participants problem-solving methods that promote creativity, reasoning, and collaboration. Due to school closures in Lima, Peru, Robotec has strongly focused on virtually preparing teachers with STEM methodologies to prepare them for the delivery of STEM projects.
In addition to STEM education, we have worked with local partners to support vulnerable communities by promoting civic participation, democracy, and governance; implementing capacity building activities; and providing critical assistance to migrants and refugees.
