PADF provides high-level technical assistance to select criminal justice sector organizations in Jamaica to improve investigations and increase convictions. By working alongside local police, investigators, prosecutors and judges, PADF’s subject-matter experts (operating as embedded advisors in the country) provide mentoring, training and support to effectively target complex criminal activities, including money laundering, narcotrafficking and financial scams. PADF’s current program also supported the use of new criminal procedure legislation through replication of international standards and best practices. The program conducted study tours for justice sector officials to Forensic training facilities in North Carolina and courthouses in London.
